IMPORTANT Pre-Tattooing Info-MUST READ BEFORE APPOINTMENT

Please be aware Only Client is allowed in Tattoo room

It is your responsibility to inquire with your GP/Surgeon as to whether you are suitable for tattooing prior to making an appointment.

IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING YOU WILL NEED TO PRODUCE A LETTER OF APPROVAL FROM YOUR GP/SURGEON - For your own protection & safety.
Diabetes, Epilepsy, Prone to Blood Clotting, Hepatitis A,B,C,
Haemophilia, Liver Disease, Prone to Keloid Scarring, Glaucoma,
Dry, Sensitive or other Eye problems (if having eyeliner)
​Allergic to dyes, anaesthetics. Prone to keloids.
Lumps (Moles, Other Growths) 
at the sight of the area to be tattooed.
Type 1 diabetes. Heart condition. High blood pressure.
Had any surgery in past 3 months. 
Have had a Mitral valve replacements, or liver/heart/kidney transplant, 
If you require antibiotics every time you visit a dentist.



A patch test is offered. $50. This will test the pigment, pre numb and secondary numbing used.
After the test there will be a waiting period of 2 weeks. However, allergies may not flare up in that time, but may in the future.
​You may opt to decline the patch test.


PRE NUMB/ANAESTHETIC
Australia Wide Legislation: Cosmetic tattooists can no longer provide numbing/topical anaesthetic.
Client can purchase from a pharmacy an apply before appointment.
​If having eyeliner tattooed, you will need to have a suitable numbing compounded. More details coming.

BREAST FEEDING
Nursing mothers need to express milk prior to treatment to avoid exposure of the infant to any risk of systemic absorption. Breast feeding should not be resumed until 2 days after treatment.

FOR ALL COSMETIC TATTOOING PROCEDURES 
​1 week prior, Stop taking Fish Oil, Aspirin or Alcohol, these increase bleeding which hinders pigment retention.
Reduce or refrain from Caffeinated drinks & Alcohol 24hrs day prior as they can increase pain levels & bleeding.
​(excessive bleeding with result in a less than satisfactory result.)

​Antihistamines can reduce swelling, so please inquire with your local pharmacist. 
After tattooing an ice pack can be used on the area for 5 minutes every hour for the 1st day.
Wrap ice pack in a new piece of cling wrap each time and place paper towel between the ice pack and your skin.


Extended sun exposure, using Retina-A, Glycolic Acid Peels, Laser will fade out colour from all treatments.
Sunblock is necessary at all times.  

The healing time is minimal for all treatments (4-14 days), A small percentage of people do have some swelling,
itchiness and tenderness, but work and most other activities can continue immediately. Avoid saunas and swimming for 1 week.


Bed linen should be clean.

​
Wash hair the day before or on the day. Do not wear makeup. Wear long hair in a low pony tail.

EYEBROWS
1 week prior to treatment Wax & trim brows, Tint if necessary. Exfoliate Daily.
If you have not allowed time for this it is fine.
Pigment colours range from Blonde to Dark Brown. Brow shape is drawn for approval before tattooing proceeds.


EYELINER/LASH ENHANCEMENT. 
Stop using Lash Enhancing Serum 6 months prior to procedure. Do not wear contacts to the appointment.
Remove eyelash extensions. Do not wear mascara. If you arrive with Eyelash Extensions the procedure
will not go ahead and you forfeit your deposit.
For mature clients who bruise easily, ask your Pharmacist if Arnica tablets could assist.

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT A $100 non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Deposit is deducted from the price of the procedure.
It is transferable to another date up until 48 hours prior. 
​Cancellations within this time frame or no shows will lose there deposit.
If you postpone your appointment without giving 48 hours notice the Balance will need to be paid at time of re booking.
Touch up: Less than 48 hrs notice and no shows will be required to pre pay $100 when rebooking

NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES-But be assured any alterations can be made at 6 week touch up
If for Any reason a 2nd Touch up is required within 3 months post tattooing a $50 Fee will be charged.


CANNOT HAVE COSMETIC TATTOOING WHILE PREGNANT 
MUST BE 18+
