Plasma Wave Skin Tightening
What is Plasmawave™?
The Plasmawave™ plasma device creates genuine plasma output not an electrical current. This plasma arc permits precise 'soft surgery' such as skin tag and mole removal as well as effective non-surgical blepharoplasty (eye lid correction).
The device provides safe acne treatments using a plasma ring with a disposable patch. Plasma lifting utilises a 500Hz modulated frequency which is specialised for deep wrinkle treatments. Additionally, the device has permeating and fractional tips which allow treatment
to boost the transdermal absorption of cosmetics.
The Plasma Wave machine conductor tip creates a tiny plasma flash from the tip leaving very small superficial brown carbon spots that look like freckles. There is no heat to the surrounding skin. These small spots draw the skin together in their direct environment and shrink the excess skin. This is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment that shrinks excess skin, bags and wrinkles!
This treatment protocol is also used for other
areas of the face/body.
The plasma causes instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres causing shortening and tightening of skin fibres,
thus resulting in the reduction of the skin surface.
The final result is an improvement of the firmness and tension of the skin (lifting effect). Since Plasma energy affects the deeper dermal layers, the result is a lifted contour, a decrease in deep wrinkles, thicker and firmer skin. Plasma promotes new collagen protein which causes the original collagen protein to strengthen the skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TREATMENT?
The area to be treated is cleansed and coated it with anaesthetic cream that take effect within 1/2 an hour. Once the procedure starts, heat sensation and a little pain may be felt. Following the procedure, small black or brown ‘carbon crusts’ on the treated area of skin will be present.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?
The following day you will have swelling in the treated area (please do not use an ice pack).
Day 3: Less swelling
Day 4-7: After carbon spots have fallen off start applying vitamin C powder mixed in with cream/serum daily for a minimum of 3 weeks.
Pink spots may remain for a number of weeks.
Depending on severity of the skin's condition clients may need a second treatment.
