ESSENTIAL: Before tattooing lips, some precautions/medications must be taken.
Please purchase 'over the counter' Famvir tablets. Take one the day before, one on the day and one the day after tattooing.
This can help prevent a cold sore break-out. Tattooing can cause cold sores to break out over the entire lip.
The result can be complete loss of pigment.
It is advised you buff the lips day and night for the week prior to help achieve the best results on the day of tattooing.
A gentle face scrub is ideal.
NOTE: dark lips cannot be tattooed. Tattooing dark coloured lips can cause hyper pigmentation. They can turn blueish!
Consider any upcoming social events or work-out commitments for the next 5 days following treatment.
Do not drink alcohol within 24hrs before treatment
